Beanie news. 3rd February 2006.

The year seems to be off to a flying start. January already behind us, and February ticking away. It doesn’t help much that it is a short month anyway! Still, each day stays a little lighter for a little longer now, and each day is a step nearer to spring time. I personally cannot wait for the weather to warm up a bit, ( well, a lot, actually!). Still, had a look around the garden this afternoon, and was thrilled to see the first snowdrops pushing their noses up! Allways a welcome sight.
Having a lot of trouble with foxes at the moment. They keep stealing all my various bird feeders and their contents. They are obviously good at climbing, as I try my best to hang them as high up the trees as I can. The feeders, that is, - not the foxes!
