Owl Rescue Centre

(Come and see our Owls)

Hawkhurst Owls can be found by taking the A 229 from Hawkhurst towards Hurst Green , and lies about 1/2 mile from the church on the moor.

We have been a bird rescue centre for about 7 years, and we take in all birds except for seagulls.

At any one time we have about 150 animals including a few domestic types. Little Owls, Barn Owls, Tawney, Bengalese, European Eagle Owls, American Great Grey Owls, Kestrels, Buzzards, Lana Falcon, Harris Hawk, Ferrugnous Hawk, Crows and Magpies retrieved from cats by the public.

We also have birds with damaged wings, Budgies, Cockatiels, Canaries, Pigeons, Squirrels, Geese and Ducks.
We raise funds through fetes and carnivals and welcome visitors but advise a phone call first - we do not charge, but we do require a donation to help feed them.

We also have a field which is our wildlife release area for foxes, badgers, pheasants, snakes and pigeons etc.

We are open most days, but to prevent disappointment
please ring Derek or June on (01580)-753353
