| Italian Pasta Bake |

| Ingredients | 14oz pasta
penne pasta Salt and pepper 10oz ham, cut into strips Butter for greasing 3 eggs ¾ pint single cream 6oz grated cheese 2oz grated parmesan cheese |

| Method | 1). Preheat oven to 190 C/ 375 F/ Gas 5.
2). Put pasta in a pan of boiling water and cook until just tender. Drain well. 3).Stir the ham strips into the pasta and put in a greased ovenproof dish. 4).Beat together the eggs, cream and seasoning, and add half the grated cheese. Pour over the pasta. 5). Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese and the Parmesan over the top and bake for about 40 minutes, until golden. |

As an alternative to ham, use crisply fried bacon, salami, or even good old sausages, cooked and thinly sliced. |
