This walk is found on the Ordnance Survey 1:25000 Sheet TQ 62/72 entitled Robertsbridge (OS may have updated) and walkers are advised to have a copy with them on the walk.

Location :-	The Rother Valley (above Witherenden Bridge). near to the village of Stonegate .
Start :-	Grid Ref 657273
Distance :-	Approx distance - 2.9 miles
Route :-	Outward - From Stonegate Station car park take footpath that follows the south side of the railway in a north-westerly direction for 1/3 mile then turn right crossing the railway (Take Care crossing the track). Proceed to Bardown Farm. Return - From Bardown Farm come back through wood but look out for County Council Information regarding special footpath to visit wildlife ponds to right(west) of public footpath. Follow this special track to exit near railway crossing and return to Stonegate Station on outward track.
Look out for :-	Hop field near railway and Special County Council Track.
