Crowborough in East Sussex lies on the A26 Tunbridge Wells to Lewes road. It was only really
developed in Victorian times as a resort on the edge of the Ashdown Forest
and access was provided by the railway. Prior to that it was an area of heath
land only inhabited by highwaymen , 
Crowborough in East Sussex lies on top of a hill with the Ashdown Forest lying to the north. The views
out towards the Forest are spectacular.
Crowborough in East Sussex has a wide range of services available, with smaller shops and businesses
providing the majority. The trains to London go from Jarvis Brook to the east of the
town.
